María Romero Clemente
Psychologist collegiate number: 28489I hold a degree in psychology from the University of Barcelona and am specialized in Gestalt therapy at the Gestalt Institute in Barcelona, where I obtained my therapist diploma. Additionally, I studied theatre and singing at the Escola Superior d'Art Dramatic Eòlia in Barcelona.
Since then, I continuously trained both the psychological and artistic aspects, taking courses in techniques such as Alba Emoting (Susana Bloch) and Transformation Relational Model (Joan Quintana and Arnoldo Cisternas).
My experience in the performing arts includes training in dramaturgy and acting with professionals such as Marilia Samper, Gabriela Izcovich, and Claudio Tolcachir, as well as training in Stanislavski technique at the Actor Center in London and Meisner technique.
In 2020, I completed the Master’s in Theatrical Creation at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, directed by Juan Mayorga.
In 2010, I moved to Paris, where I studied at the l’École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq and lived for eight years. This period was a turning point, consolidating the integration of psychology and art that today forms the foundation of my practice.
I have lived in different cities and countries, developing my career across diverse fields such as human resources, theatrical creation and artistic direction, writing, and team management in the hospitality sector. This combination of experiences and contexts has shaped a broad and sensitive perspective on people and their processes, allowing me to deeply understand their background, both from their history and context as well as from their life experience.
From this approach, I support individuals and groups in various contexts, both in the artistic field and in educational and organizational settings. I am also particularly interested in working with high-level athletes, integrating coaching tools focused on performance, emotional management, and personal development. Additionally, I offer individual therapy, working in a personalized way to support emotional, relational, and bodily processes.
